Local Studio is a Boston-based architecture office focused on making projects that are thoughtful, clever, and highly responsive to local conditions – no matter the actual location. The studio enjoys working with varying scales and sites, from the most rural to the most urban, and works regionally throughout New England.
Stephanie Morrison, AIA + LEED-AP has over twenty years of professional experience, including seven years in the office of Maryann Thompson Architects. She has worked on a wide portfolio of projects and is skilled at navigating the many approval processes required to realize a project. She loves New England for its varied landscapes, steeped history of craft, and the openness toward embracing building traditions while also pushing them forward. Stephanie holds a five-year Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky and a Master in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She is a registered architect in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine.
